| THE TOUR : A village is to be found on the top of the hill of Montmartre crowned by the white Sacred Heart Basilica so familiar to Parisians. Towards the end of the 19th century, numerous artists (Van Gogh, Renoir, Picasso...) settled here with their families to enjoy the simple and peaceful country life. The Louvre museum is on e of the richest in the world. It is impossible to visit it all in a short time, but a guided visit will show you the highlights. ITINERARY : Ride up to Montmartre by coach and funicular, guided walking tour of the village and Place du Tertre. Visit on your own the Sacred Heart basilica. At the Louvre museum, during more than one hour guided visit, you will see the Venus of Milo, the Winged Victory and Da Vinci's Mona Lisa.
